Why buy the Cree CR6-625L? The answer comes down to just one word, efficiency. Every 65 watt bulb replaced with a CR6 LED module saves over 80% on energy costs, runs cool to eliminate additional HVAC usage, and eliminates bulb changes over the 50,000 life of the bulb. Realistic payback times run as low as two years when the ENERGY STAR® qualified CR6 LED downlight is installed in areas with high light usage, and hundreds of dollars in additional energy savings can be realized over the life of the light. All this is accomplished with no sacrifice in light quality or dimmability, especially when compared to compact fluorescent bulbs. The outstanding quality of Cree LED downlights and a 5 year warranty make the decision to switch your home to LED lighting an easy one.

The best led can light I've foundReview by Jim Harding
These are the real thing. Instant on, fully dimable. Good color. I'm a builder and had yet to find a true replacement for an incandescent bulb in a recess can that was energy efficient, looked correct and came on instantly. Here it is. They are now 625 lumens rather than earlier units. Best price I have seen for these to boot. (Posted on 12/11/2013)
Cree 6" downlight for bathroomReview by Basia
bought two of these light for a bathroom install. what else do you want but a nice color light bright and warm in color and energy efficient to boot! have these in 5" version for my kitchen remodel and they work great and save me money! (Posted on 12/2/2013)
Excellent light with two issues Review by Steven Deller
Love the light, dimming is superb and look is clean.
For my 50-yr old house the ceiling cutouts are 7" and not quite circular so the CREE light with it's 7-3/8" rim left some gaps (hard to see). The old fixture had an 8" ring which covered the admitedly sloppy work.Wish there were "extra ring" that could make the CREE cover another 1/2" in diameter. (Posted on 1/25/2013)
Nice LightReview by Jacob Berlin
We used these as the main lighting in our remodel project. They work very nicely. (Posted on 1/25/2013)
GoodReview by Jerry Baker
These lights look really good, but as energy-efficient lighting goes they aren't very efficient. At 575 lumens for 10.5 Watts you're only getting 55 lumens per watt. Even most compact fluorescent bulbs will give you 70 - 80 lumens per watt, and the new Philips L-prize 10W LED bulb is nearly 100 lumens per Watt (almost twice as bright as this Cree using the same power). Great kitchen lightsReview by Gretchen
These lights were installed as part of our remodel. They are lovely and terrific light for our kitchen. Happy to be saving energy and the Kelvin 2700 is "just right". I did not do the isntallation so I cannot speak to that. (Posted on 1/25/2013)
Wonderful light!Review by Chip Bissell
I really, really like these lights! I was worried if they would be bright enough or what the color would be like.
After installing 9 recessed canister lights with Cree CR6-GU24 bulbs, I couldn't be happier. Plenty bright. Great color! The dimming is fantastic!
They are the best!!! (Posted on 1/25/2013)
Cree CR-6-GU24Review by Steve
Very happy with the lights. They were easy to install in generic Halo cans. The light looks fantastic. The GU24 sockets that came with the lights came with a vampire connector that was a little sketchy so I cut them off and used wire nuts. This worked better. (Posted on 1/25/2013)
Great ProductReview by TimCook
Used the CR6-GU24s for my kitchen remodel. Easy installation. Great lighting. Very pleased with the light and the flawless Polar-Ray transaction. (Posted on 1/25/2013)
Better than expectedReview by Mitch
I replaced 7 recessed lighting using the CR-6 and they are brighter and warmer than expected. I've tried others LEDs and this is by far the best. Thanks Polar Ray for making this my last stop. (Posted on 1/25/2013)
The best option for Title 24 compliance!Review by bmanning
We just remodeled our kitchen and finding lights that look good and are title 24 compliant is a difficult task. These are installed and gorgeous, they produce a nice warm light. We spaced them about 4 feet apart and that seems like a good distance as far as providing adequate amounts of light, but not too bright. (Posted on 1/25/2013)
Cree CR6-GU24Review by Michael Hui
The light quality is wonderful: very close to a 100W incandescent bulb. Installation in Cree's matching recessed can is easy. Getting the old cans out, re-doing the drywall around each can, and putting in the new cans from Cree do take some time though. (Posted on 1/25/2013)
Very Nice!Review by Ted Kropiewnicki
Easy to install, attach and push it into the can. Deep recess looks great, dimmable for soft lighting but pretty bright when used with full power. (Posted on 1/25/2013)
