I just finished installing two of these upgrades. It takes much longer than the video leads one to believe. It looked so easy but it is actually much harder. The video showed it being installed in a 2 light fixture, but a 4 light fixture has a maze of wires to sort through. It showed taking out the ballast with a screw. Ours had a bolt and nut which gave different issues. The magnets are not strong enough to hold the light tube in place and I was lucky to have a man holding the other end or they would have fallen on the floor. The self tapping nuts must have been made for some other material. They didn't even make a dent on the housing of our fixtures. I had to drill a pilot hole for each. The center cover over the wires doesn't come out that easily. I had to use a screw driver to pry it out. I won't even start on the problems I had because we had several fixtures connected to the same wall switch. I would say it would be better to allow about an hour or hour and a half for one fixture. The jury is out. We will see how the Board likes them next Sunday to determine if we order more. (Posted on 2/26/2015)
