I installed the 18-LED version over my wife's kitchen desk, and she's really happy with it. I compared the Talea-HP to another brand; here's how they stack up:
Talea-HP: $0.22/lumen, 47 l/watt, 385 l/foot, 5 year warranty, made in USA.
Brand Y: $0.17/lumen, 53 l/watt, 160 l/foot, 3 year warranty, made in China.
The Talea-HP is the clear winner for brightness and quality; efficiency is close enough. Made in USA is what sold me. |

I have this light bar inside a very old pendulum clock at the base. It runs quite cool and has a slight warmth in its color, which is great for an antique wood clock. If necessary, I could daisy-chain more onto it which is a nice feature. |
