It fits into most 6" IC( insulated cans), non- IC and air tight incandescent cans and is suitable for damp location use.The kit includes a six-inch LED recessed downlight with white trim and a medium base socket adapter. An optional GU24 adapter provides a California Title 24 compliant solution.
The sleek design complements most ceilings with its flush mounting style and aesthetic appeal. Available in 3000K color temperature, the 11-watt version delivers 625 lumens of light, comparable to a standard 65-watt incandescent BR30 light bulb and is dimmable down to 10%. |

The Sylvania brand is shorter in depth than the Cree CR6. The Sylvania blends in well with my other four lights, both in physical appearance and illumination (2700k). The Sylvania takes a split second to come on after throwing the switch. However, if the lights were all Sylvania, you would never notice the delay. I found the Cree CR6 a bit easier to install, but both units are a breeze to retrofit; replacement took less than 2 minutes each, including removal of the socket mounting plate. |

| Do the job but not a CREE led |

I bought these lights to fit in the shallow Halo H27 cans and to match existing 2700K on other Cree LED lights(Ecosmart).Eventhough the specs do notstate they frt the H27 cans and lights are only 4 1/2" deep and do fit The lights almost match the 2700K color of the Cree. The RT6 are slightly cooler but close enough. The dimming is adequate but not as smooth as the Cree. They do the job if you need the light for a shallow housing.Cree does not make a light for the shallow housings |

I replaced a bunch of incandescent BR30's in a few different existing cans with these. The Cree CR-6 was too deep for some of my cans and the friction catch mechanism didn't work in some of my others. The torsion springs on these worked everywhere (with a little bending).
The best part is, the light is so nice and warm, nobody even noticed I did the work until I pointed it out! |
