Description:

A high-performance, easy to install residential grade downlight solution offers good light output, energy-efficiency and a streamlined design. It fits into most 4" IC (insulated cans), non- IC and air-tight incandescent cans and is suitable for damp location use. The kit includes a four-inch LED recessed downlight with white trim and a medium base socket adapter.

The sleek design complements most ceilings with its flush mounting style and aesthetic appeal. Available in 2700K and 3000K color temperatures, the 9-watt version delivers 550 lumens of light, comparable to a standard 50-watt halogen PAR20 lightbulb and is dimmable down to 20%.

	Just what I expected
	The lights are great, fit into my ICAT cans, have a nice warm light you would expect from a 2700k, and arrived very quickly. Fully satisfied with both the lights and Polar-Ray.

	Good lights
	These warm white lights fit and work well in the kitchen. They fit well over my Halo cans. My only concern is that their rated life is less than their competitors, but only time will tell.

	Sylvania 4" downlight "worth it"
	I tested several downlights and decided to go with these sylvanias. The brightness and color rendering is great and better than the 65W halogens they are replacing. In addition, they are easy to install and I can use my existing cans. I particularly like the fact that I will never be stuck with a specific brand can light in my ceiling (i.e.Cree product) in case a better light comes out down the road.

	Very good downlight
	I installed 6 of the 2700k model in series about three feet apart. The light quality is warm and diffuse, very comfortable in a living room. I was thinking of using lower wattage halogens, but these won based on ease of installation and overall cost; I like that with 6 of these fully lit I'm getting 3300 lumens a cost 54 watts, and the base cost is also reasonable considering that all they need is $15 housing. Finally, they are subtle and aesthetically pleasing when not lit as well.

	Solid 4" LED Unit
	I have replaced a number of 6" recessed lights in my home with LED units and until now was not able to find a good unit for the 4" units. This unit is very good. The price is still a little high for these LED units but I see them dropping over time. The color and fit is perfect for my application. Dims very well and overall very satisfied. An excellent efficient replacement for incandescent bulbs and far more useful than CFL alternatives.
