Lighting Science Glimpse LED Downlight

Bought 4 of these buggers for my garage (J-box connection) and absolutely love them; just bought 10 more... once figured out how to install first one to a J-box, the rest went in easily... only a slight delay to turn on.

I bought 1 warm white and 1 cool white to test. All I can say is WOW, much brighter than expected, I can cut back on lights needed, sweet. They turned on a little delayed at first, not much, but once warm, came on as expected. Haven’t tried a dimmer, yet. Nice looking, easy installation, great for new construction, cost savings by using a standard 4” box and they work just as described. I would recommend highly so far. Polar-Ray and shipping were fast, thanks!

I was nervous about the style and functionality of these. There is a one second delay, which doesn't bother me and they are beautiful. Perfect lighting and color. I used them everywhere in my home.

During a remodel we discovered that there was not enough room for can lights in one area due to some plumbing . The Glimpse LED allowed us to have matching fixtures because it can be installed on a J-box or a can. They look great. Color (3000K) and brightness are perfect! The delay does not bother me. Less power usage and less heat makes me feel better about leaving them on when I leave the room for a short time (I am a compulsive light-turner-offer normally). Very happy with this product.

I replaced 10 can lights, and 2 jbox mounted lights. Installation was a snap, and one of the only lights to work in both a jbox & can which I needed. The relatively flush mount has a real clean look. . I have dimmers on all of them. I tried several dimmers before I found one (Leviton 6633) that works thru most of the range without flicker. The lutron LED dimmers on the market don't work too well! I highly recommend these especially if you have a jbox application.
