Cree LED Downlights

Cree LR6 Series

Cree LR6 series LED downlights provide a simple all-in-one solution that can be used in both retrofit and new construction applications. The LR6 series are our best selling LED downlights and provide a light output comparable to or brighter than a 65 watt PAR lamp while using only 10.5 watts of power and lasting 50,000 hours. That means you can run six Cree downlights for approximately the same cost as one traditional downlight!

• Fits into most six inch cans and available in two color temperatures, a traditional warm white (2700°K) and a neutral white (3500°K).
• Dimmable to approximately 20% with most standard incandescent dimmers.
• Replaces 65W PAR or BR bulbs (our opinion is that you can replace up to 75W bulbs with the LR6).
• LR6 series lights are damp rated and can be used in bathrooms, covered porches etc.
• Available with an Edison base or with the GU24 base required for California Title-24 applications.
• LR6 series downlights come with a white trim ring, light engine and GU24 adapter (when ordering a GU24 base lamp).

Cree CR6 Series

Cree CR6 series LED downlights have been designed with the residential user in mind. A more streamlined and economical unit with slightly lower light output (575 lumens for the CR6 versus 650 lumens for the LR6) while using the same amount of power as the LR6. One advantage of the CR6 led ceiling lights is the ability to dim to a lower level than the LR6 series lights.

• Fits into most six inch cans and available in a traditional warm white (2700°K).
• Dimmable to approximately 5% with most standard incandescent dimmers.
• Built-in technology allows the light to maintain an even color as it dims.
• CR6 series lights are damp rated and can be used in bathrooms, covered porches etc.

Cree LR6-DR Series

Cree LR6-DR series LED downlights utilize a deep recess trim piece to further shield the light source and reduce unwanted glare. Available in 650 lumen or 1000 lumen versions, the latter having an unprecedented 80 lumens of light output per watt. Only available in a GU-24 base yet easily retrofits into an Edison base can with included GU24 socket whip adapter.

Cree LE6 Series

Cree LE6 series led downlights are similar to the LR6 series but deliver less light and utilize an eyeball trim piece to direct light anywhere from 10 to 30 degrees off center, allowing the user to smoothly wash a wall.

• Fits into most six inch cans and available in two color temperatures, a traditional warm white (2700°K) and a neutral white (3500°K).
• Dimmable to approximately 20% with most standard incandescent dimmers.
• Replaces up to a 50W bulb.
• LE6 series lights are damp rated and can be used in bathrooms, covered porches etc.

Cree LR4 Series

Cree LR4 series LED downlights are the perfect low-energy architectural grade downlights for new construction applications. Unlike the six inch downlights Cree offers, the LR4 series downlights are sold without a standard trim ring, allowing the customer to obtain a more custom look by choosing a trim that bests suits their decor. We do combine a light engine, our most popular trim piece and a housing into a single set on our website for easy ordering.

• Designed for new construction and available in two color temperatures, a traditional warm white (2700°K) and a neutral white (3500°K).
• Dimmable to approximately 20% with most standard incandescent dimmers.
• Built-in technology allows the light to maintain an even color as it dims.

Halo LED Downlights

Halo LED downlights allow you to tailor the look of the downlight to match your home or room decor. The LED light engine and trim ring are sold separately, and a number of different trim colors and styles are available. Please note that not all trim rings are damp rated, Title-24 compliant or ENERGY STAR qualified. Like the Cree LR6 series, the 600, 900 and 1200 series Halo LED downlights are dimmable, down to 15% with a standard incandescent dimmer or to 5% using an incandescent dimmer with low end trim adjustment (most dimmers will require four or more on the switch in order to dim properly). Halo LED modules utilize a snap-on wiring clip designed to retrofit into existing cans with an Edison screw base adapter (included with the module) or clip directly into the dedicated Halo LED housing for Title-24 applications.

Halo 600 Series

Using just under 14 watts, the Halo LED 600 series module is available in four color temperatures ranging from warm white to neutral white. Light output of the LED module varies from 400-760 lumens depending on which trim ring is chosen to complete the downlight.

• Available color temperatures: 2725°K, 3045°K, 3465°K and 3985°K (we currently stock all but the 3985°K units).
• Light output of the 600 series LED module varies from 400-760 lumens depending on the trim ring and color temperature.
• Dimmable to approximately 15% with most standard incandescent dimmers.
• Meets California Title-24 requirements with approved trim ring and housing.

Halo 900 Series

Halo 900 Series LED downlights are available in the same color temperatures as the 600 series and utilize the same trim pieces. The modules consume 14.3 watts of power and provides anywhere from 511-945 lumens of light depending on the trim ring.

• Available color temperatures: 2725°K, 3045°K, 3465°K and 3985°K (we currently stock the 2725°K warm white unit).
• Light output of the 900 series LED module varies from 511-945 lumens depending on the trim ring and color temperature.
• Dimmable to approximately 15% with most standard incandescent dimmers.
• Meets California Title-24 requirements with approved trim ring and housing.

Halo 1200 Series

Halo 1200 Series LED downlights are universal voltage (120-277V) modules available in the same color temperatures as the 600 and 900 series lights. The modules consume 24.8 watts of power and provides anywhere from 862-1541 lumens of light depending on the trim ring and color temperature.

• Available color temperatures: 2725°K, 3045°K, 3465°K and 3985°K (we currently stock the 2725°K warm white unit).
• Light output of the 1200 series LED module varies from 862-1541 lumens depending on the trim ring and color temperature..
• Dimmable to less than 10% with 0-10V dimming controls.
