easy to install, easy to wire up by just inserting the bare wires into the connectors. With my highly textured ceilings I had no problems with the clips holding tight. The screw socket is only attached by the wires so it is made for the CREE recessed lights. |

thick heavy duty housing, great quality. Like everyone has said, bend the clips down before installing otherwise it wont sit as flush as you would expect in the ceiling. had i not had to do this, it would be a 5 star product. |

I used five of these in my kitchen in conjunction with the CR6 LED modules. I ended up needing a sixth can so picked up another brand retrofit can from a big box store. The Cree model, while a bit more expensive, is made of heavier gauge material and I liked the design and construction of the junction box better. As a prior reviewer mentioned, you need to bend the clips down prior to mounting for a tight fit against the ceiling. I'm well pleased overall and would use this model again. |

These cans worked great. Easy to install and then easy to add the LED lights.
One thing is that at times when you push the clips so that the can is tight to the drywall, the can has a bit of play it it. I figured out that prior to installation bend the clips down a bit so that they grab the drywall tighter. They ended up working great. |
