THE LR6C from Cree Lighting is one of the most popular LED downlights for home or office. It takes just a few minutes to retrofit into most 6 recessed cans, and once installed it looks so traditional that no one will even notice its a LED downlight. The Cree LR6C produces a soft and pleasing neutral white floodlight pattern that is easy on the eyes.

YOU CAN DIM THE LR6C but did you know?

The Cree LR6 is dimmable to approximately 20% and compatible with most standard dimmers. However some brands and models of dimmers will offer a wider range and smoother performance than others so please refer to the dimming compatibility chart located in the Downloads section of this page.

IS THE CREE LR6 SERIES SAFE TO USE IN A DAMP LOCATION?

Yes! The Cree LR6C is UL damp rated, so it can be used in bathrooms, covered porches and other areas where it might be exposed to high humidity or extreme indirect moisture.

HOW BRIGHT IS IT really?

Cree says its as bright as a 65 watt incandescent (BR30), but most of our customers swear its as bright as the 75W-90W bulb that they replaced! To even our most demanding customers, this product never disappoints.

WHITE LIGHT But GREEN too?

The Cree LR6 line of LED downlights contain no mercury and use 80% less energy than the bulbs they are designed to replace. And with a 50,000 hour rated life you'll be helping to reduce the number of bulbs that end up in our landfills.

	Great lights
	I have about a dozen of these Cree lights installed in my home and they put out excellent light with good dispersion. They light they put out seems much brighter than the 75W equivalent rating in the spec sheet. Polar Ray always delivers quickly and the packaging is excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these lights and Polar Ray to friends and family.

	These lights have a very good color quality. Very well built,with that they cost a bit more. Out of the 15 different lights I have checked out, this light by far is a good light. Polar-ray was the lowest price I have found. The shipping was fast.

	Great Lights! I have been very pleased so far. The only downside is the cost. These were the best priced ones I found but it is still more money than most would want to spend on a light.

	The right balance of brightness without looking blue. I put 64 of these in my home since my wife was heat intolerant and we have loved the lights. Polar Ray's prices could not be beat. The turn around time on the order was outstanding.

	Ultimate recessed can light
	I've had my home office lighted with these lights for a few years. I purchased another set for my mother's home office - she loves them too. A bit too expensive to do the whole house, and some might find the light to be a bit too white, but for a home office scenario, this is the perfect lighting solution. Instant on, 30 year lifespan, low power draw, virtually no heat emitted, no UV, etc.
