Continued improvements in LED technology provide the backbone of the LR6-DR1000. An unprecedented efficacy of 80 lumens per watt means that 100W of incandescent light can be replaced using only 12.5 Watts. This amazing breakthrough represents a major milestone in the advancement of LED lighting. The DR stands for "Deep Recess". The clean, white flange spans about an inch deeper into the fixture, helping to further shield the light source and reduce unwanted glare. Designed for use with the RC6-12W-GU24, RR6-12W-GU24 or H6-GU24. The LR6-DR1000 can also easily retrofit into existing 6" housings. |

I purchased one of these as a trial, and after two days having it installed I ordered another. I like the color of the light, and the brightness. Installation was easy -- literally less than 10 minutes, second one was under 5. I have not tried the dimmer functionality yet (no dimmer in the room in which they are installed).
I plan to buy more of these, and other products in the same line as well, probably in different brightnesses and color temps for different uses. |

We purchased this 100W-equivalent LED as a replacement for our three 34W CFL.
We love it!
the light is white and bright. If you weren't told you wouldn't know it's LED as the lens covers the discrete LEDs from direct view and distributes the light evenly as with any recessed lighting would. Instant on, unlike CFL, is much appreciated.

I installed 4 at one end of a 20' x 12'. I planned to put 4 more at the other end, but probably won't need to due to how bright these LED modules are. Installation was a breeze, hardest part was cutting hole in the ceiling. Very satisfied with the product. Instant turn on and full brightness. A+ |

This product is packaged very well for shipping. The instructions are very good. Installation was simple and removal is also simple. The light is quite bright but not glaring. The results are professional in appearance in every way. |
