| Description |
Continued improvements in LED technology provide the backbone of the LR6-DR1000. An unprecedented efficacy of 80 lumens per watt means that 100W of incandescent light can be replaced using only 12.5 Watts. This amazing breakthrough represents a major milestone in the advancement of LED lighting. The DR stands for "Deep Recess". The clean, white flange spans about an inch deeper into the fixture, helping to further shield the light source and reduce unwanted glare. Designed for use with the RC6-12W-GU24, RR6-12W-GU24 or H6-GU24. The LR6-DR1000 can also easily retrofit into existing 6" housings. |

Installed four into a 12x12 kitchen with 8' ceilings. Tremendous light, so much so I had to get the Diva LED dimmer to have the ability to dial it back. Would buy again, although hopefully the price will come down as the technology is adopted. |

Great product - I was aprehensive at first about the cost and whether the light output would be sufficient, but I took the plunge and installed two of these in the kitchen of my small apartment. The light output and color is great, and the lights look nice too.
If your are in the market for LED lights these are the way to go.

Well, I'm thrilled to finally have the four lights installed and working and they are all I'd hoped they'd be. They look great, the light is just the right color temperature and they are bright! These are installed with a Lutron Diva dimmer and that gives an added ambience to the effect of the lights. I'm looking forward to a long history with them. |

Picked up 5 - 2700K LR6 DR1000 modules. I had retrofit standard recessed enclosures installed with a standard edison socket. These modules came with a wiring adapter for the GU24 base, and installing all 5 of these took about 15 minutes.
As for the brightness, I also installed the Cree recommended Lutron dimmer, dimming at night.
Great quality of light, much better than the CFL modules.
I am sold on this technology, with the only drawback being the price. |

We installed this light in a new bathroom. It replaced a CFL fixture which was supposed to be the equivalent of a 100 watt bulb. This light is far brighter and the 2700K (Warm White) is a very pleasant color. I couldn't be happier. |
