Cree CR4-575L-GU24

We really like these lamps - especially in the 4" size. The light is not at all harsh, illuminates and fills in very well - no problem with shadows. We also like the full range dimming with the GU-24 bulbs. We installed low voltage 4" halogen (MR-16's) in our last house - this is the best LED alternative we have found. Easy to install with the built in trim rings - just wish the GU-24's had a truly compatible housing - converting the Edison base on 100 housings takes a little time.

I have bought many of the Cree 6" downlights for our home remodel and they are awesome; however, these 4" Crees are very, very cool. They are sleek, modern, and give a huge amount of light. Depending on the room and application, they add a wonderful elegance and an updated lighting solution for recessed lighting.

Color is very good - almost as good as an incandesent. Slightly pink, vs. incandescent. Incandesent is slightly yellower. MacBeth reference color chart looks very good/accurate under the Cree. Bright without lighting hot spots - even pattern. Noticeably better color than the Sylvania or Halo equivalents as of 9/2012. Best warm (2700K) LED or CFL we have found so far.
