Ideally suited for low to medium intensity directional lighting applications, LED MR16 bulbs are a popular choice for residential or commercial lighting. Common uses for the MR16 LED bulb include track lighting, pendant lighting, desk lamps, landscape lighting and retail display lighting. Although MR16 LED bulbs will typically be a direct "plug and play" replacement for halogen MR16 bulbs, there may be some 12 volt applications utilizing electronic transformers where the LED bulb fails to light due to its low power draw. In most cases there shouldn't be any problems using a magnetic transformer. Why make the switch to MR16 LED bulbs? With a 40K to 50K hour life span and reduced energy usage LED MR16s have a quick return on investment and will easily save you time and money over their years of operation.
